Anna Gavrishova, PMHNP-BC LMHC

Being a therapist since 2012, Anna has provided care in many settings including outpatient, community, and inpatient facilities and became a PMHNP since 2022. Anna specializes in treating co-occurring populations as well as children and families. She love working with adults, children and families and caters services to each client.

Anna views therapy like putting together a puzzle. Taking a comprehensive view of someone’s history, development, biology, strengths and experiences to better understand where to start and find effective ways to help put the “picture” together to improve functioning, find solutions appropriate to each individual’s goals and needs and move forward with life.

Her approach to therapy is to be supportive, genuine and collaborative. As a provider, she is not here to tell you what to do or approach care as one-size fits all, but rather a process through which change can occur toward each individual’s (or family’s) personal goals.

Her training and perspective include:

  • CBT (including DBT and ACT techniques)

  • Mindfulness

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Medication management
