Anna Gavrishova, PMHNP-BC LMHC
Being a therapist since 2012, I have provided care in many settings including outpatient, community, and inpatient facilities and became a PMHNP in 2022. I specialized in child and family therapy and substance use treatment in my education. I love to teach and support others in their growth, teaching in the AD program at PCC and providing supervision/preceptorship to new providers.
I specialize in working with co-occurring populations, children, families, and adults, tailoring my services to meet each client’s unique needs. I view therapy like solving a puzzle—taking a comprehensive look at history, biology, strengths, and experiences to help clients improve functioning, achieve their goals, and move forward in life. My approach is supportive, genuine, and collaborative. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions; instead, I focus on creating a personalized process that fosters meaningful change.
I have personal and family history with many of the conditions I treat, which gives me a deeper understanding and empathy for the challenges my clients face. Outside of work, I spend my free time with my pets, reading, and gardening. I also love dance and exploring new things—it keeps life exciting and full of growth!
My training includes:
CBT (including DBT and ACT techniques)
Mindfulness
Trauma-informed care
Medication management
